Cameroonian lethal striker Frank Etouga says he felt gloomy after his name was omitted in coach Rigobert Song’s final list for the AFCON qualifiers.
Etouga, who plays for Asante Kotoko is the highest goal scorer in the Ghanaian Premier league with 21 goals.
He said:
“When they first called me I was happy and proud because it was a sign that they’ve seen my hard-work but when my name was omitted, I lost focus but the Coach and the CEO helped me a lot by consoling me and telling me to believe in myself.”
