Huge excitement is already building as the maiden and inaugural edition of the Cameroon Entertainment Award (CEA) approaches. The event which is scheduled to take place on July 27, 28, and 29th at Cramton Auditorium , Howard University , Washington DC has focal objectives to recognize Cameroonian fashion, film, music and sell the country’s image superlatively.
According to a Press release filed to NexDim from the organizers, a number of Cameroonian and foreign artists have confirmed their participation;
Cameroonian Artists: Talla Andre Marie, Myra Maimoh, Luxland, Naomi Achu, Emile Kange, and Sam Ebako.
Foreign Artists; Michelle Hakizimana (Wshington Based Burundian singer), K-Jean (New York-based Congolese singer) , Patience Ibembo (Ivorian former Dancer of Koffi Olomide) , DTM (New-York Based Guinean singer).
Cameroonian movie stars: Taka Tanni, Trina Takor, Shaznay Okawa, Elian Mambo, Abraham Takor.
All 3 honorees of humanitarian work have equally confirmed their presence ; Angelle Kwemo, Personal adviser to Roby Bush, US Congressman, Kinge Monono Nganje and Dr David Makongo.
Nominees shall be issued tickets solely based on the confirmation of their participation at the event.
So far, Ghanaian movie star, John Dumelo has been showing penchant for the event by rallying voters for the Pan-African category while Senegalese superstar Vivian Ndour considers the event as a terrific stride , taking Cameroon a hundred steps ahead.
