Kossinda Angele is the first to represent Cameroon at Miss Universe beauty pageant, which was formed in 1952. Her love for Cameroon is unswerving.
She marveled the entire world, as she graced the stage in Miami with valour , verve and immense motivation to win for her country Cameroon.
If Kossinda wins Miss Universe this year, it will be a back-to-back win for Africa as her predecessor is Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa.
The 28-year old Angele hails from the Far North Cameroon. She has a Masters Degree in Finance from Pigier Cameroun and provides free math lessons to underprivileged children in her city, Douala.
Kossinda is an advocate for the education of the young and disadvantaged girls in Cameroon.
His mother was a victim of forced marriage, which inspired her to design a project that revolves around the education of young girls; raising awareness on forced marriages and excision of women.
Kossinda has a wide range of experience and career exploits.
Kossinda was discovered on the Reality TV show Number One Girl organised by Wax Dey. She was crowned Miss Littoral Cameroon 2016 and Miss Africa Continent 2017 third runner-up. Kossinda also finished in the Top 16 in Miss Global Heritage 2017.
Kossinda represented Cameroon at Miss Earth 2017, which was held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on 4th November 2017. While Kossinda finished in the Top 16 at Miss Earth 2017, it was Karen Ibasco of the Philippines who won the crown.
On 12th November 2019, Kossinda represented Cameroon at Miss International 2019 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan where she remained unplaced. In the following month itself, on 6th December 2019, Kossinda represented Cameroon at Miss Supranational 2019 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland. She finished in the Top 25 and was also crowned Miss Supranational Africa 2019. She was part of Miss Cameroon jury in 2020.
Kossinda Angele is passionate about acting, travelling, scriptwriting, and youth education.
Amazingly , in her spare time, she produces and acts in a TV comedy series “Crazy Dicteé ” available on Youtube.
