“IF LOCKO DIDN’T POST ME , BIG DREAMS WOULDN’T HAVE SEEN ME” – KOCEE APPRECIATES LOCKO 

During an interview on The Roy Mamah Show , Kocee showed gratitude to LOCKO , as one of the people that God sent to change his career trajectory, to what he is today. 

“Locko has played a great role in my career. If he didn’t post me, his label wouldn’t have seen me. 

When he posted me, Big Dreams called that they want to sign me. I was in Buea . I be dey me for my one room for Dirty South . A lot of people will come and try but God will send one person…”

In 2017, Locko posted Kocee’s solo debut single “Balancé” on his page, which enabled Big Dreams to discover him. 

“Balancé” was making waves in the English-speaking regions, but it wasn’t known across the Moungo. 

When he was signed by the label, they expanded his visibility by bringing in Tenor on the remix.

“Balancé ” was an instant it nationwide, which was a fork in the road for the serial hitmaker.

“Balancé” currently has over 10 million views. 

Kocee collaborated with Locko on “I love you” and also featured on “Baca”, an infectious tune in Locko’s “Bridge” album.
