According to Award-winning Cameroonian singer GASHA , famed Ugandan artist Eddy KENZO has been earning all the royalties from their 2015 collaboration “Chill

The video was uploaded on Eddy Kenzo’s YouTube channel upon a well-defined agreement but Eddy Kenzo went ahead to ruthlessly claim complete ownership

“Chill” has amassed over 5 million views but Gasha has not received a dime.  She also stated that she hasn’t received any streaming revenue.

In 2015, Gasha invited Eddy Kenzo for the collaboration. She took charge of all expenses; flew him from East Africa to Cameroon for the recording session and video shoot.

Gasha has revealed that she paid $2000 dollars.(Approximately 1.2 million fcfa)  for the collaboration and owned the song 100%

Gasha trusted Eddy Kenzo and team to do the distribution and bring back the royalties earned from the project.

Gasha thought the Pan-Africanism and musical chemistry they shared at the time will make Eddy Kenzo respect their agreement. Surprisingly, 9 years down the line, Eddy Kenzo has been sitting on all the income generated from the “chill” song

All Gasha’s efforts to negotiate with Eddy Kenzo have been snubbed.
