Apoula Edima Bete Édel was born in Yaounde on the 17th of June 1986.He currently plays for French Division 1 side Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and a product of PWD Kumba.
He acquired Armenian nationality and was solicited to play for their national team in 2004. Selected by Bernard Cassoni, he has played against Romania and Czech in Armenian colours. Edel has now declared his interest to play for the Indomitable Lions which has been filed to FIFA.
On the 5th of May, Apoula Edel will know if he shall be in South Africa this June in Cameroonian colours.The 23 years old goalkeeper who just won the French cup with PLG is awaiting a response from FIFA on that date.
