After scoring a majestic goal, Vincent Aboubakar celebrated in front of Dynamo Kiev coach Mircea Lucescu as a reply following comments the coach made last week after the first leg saying;
“I did not play against Besiktas. I played against the African national team.”
Although he received a yellow card for the act, he went home satisfied for eliminating Lucescu’s Dynamo Kiev.
During the post-match Press conference, the journalist interviewed the coach about Aboubakar’s celebration and he responded sarcastically;
Journalist: Aboubakar, after scoring a goal, ran up to your coaching bench …
Lucescu : I don’t know why that happened. But it demonstrates his upbringing and education”
