Lovers of all things musically Jamaican have surely heard of him. Sultan Oshimihn is his name and his dedication to everything reggae, ragga and dancehall is proven and strong. Since the release of his first album “The Birth of Fire” , Sultan Oshimihn born Assongmony Mvele Flavien has shown talent, diversity and uniqueness. He is amongst that rare breed of artists for whom music is not only for entertainment but also for sensitisation. His artistic name Oshimihn is from the Vietnamese general who defeated the French army at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu. Since bursting unto to scene, he has amassed countless accolades such as Best Music Video at the Canal d’Or awards in 2006 and Best reggae,ragga dancehall artist and album at the Mboa HipHop Awards in 2007. His second album “Black Queen” was only an affirmation of his status as a committed artist who doesn’t mince words when the truth is at stake. In addition to all these attributes,the guy is equally an intense entertainer and when you attend his concert you will surely get your money’s worth in entertainment. The Cameroonian Hip Hop scene shall be vibrating to the groove as Boudor and Sultan Oshimihn, considered as two Cameroonian Hip hop top notch acts shall be battling it out on stage on August 26th 2011 at complex Scolaire de gaiete in Yaounde and on the 31st of August at College de la salle in Douala , an event organised by Intrust Urban Flow .The  ’Jamais’ crooner ,Krotal renown for making big hits on the international scene shall be the referee during this punchlines contest.

Boudor , who just returned from Senegal is a rich package you’ll definitely admire . His music is an original and unique melange of Cameroonian local languages and rap  with powerful punchlines targeting the youths. His philosophy and life is ideal , respected by Hip Hop pundits across Cameroon.Boudor   is a former member of Negrissm.

Ragga, raggae, dancehall artist, Sultan came to the limelight when he dropped his debut LP, ”The birth of fire” .His lyrics are deep and aimed at redressing the political situation in Cameroon. He released his second album in December 2010 dubbed ”Black queen”.

Music producer, rapper and singer, Krotal is a name which needs no introduction. He dropped ”Vert , rouge , jaune’ in 2003 and ”B.O de nos life” in 2007. He is best known for his hit song ‘Jamais’ and considered as a father of Hip Hop music in Cameroon having 2 Canal D’or Awards for best Hip Hip artist to his credit.

”Hip Hop Cafe” was launched some months ago at the French Cultural centre in Yaounde. The next edition of this event shall take place at a cabaret situated opposite Pharmacie de L’unite, some 200 m to Boulanlangerie Acropole, Yaounde.

The new Hip Hop cabaret which is definitely first of its kind in Cameroon shall be inaugurated on Friday, June 3rd 2011 from 7 Pm. The organising committee has invited renown Hip Hop artists like Sultan Oshimihn, Bashiru, AK Sang Grave, Nkunkuma and Ada.

The show shall be open weekly  from Tuesdays to Sundays.The concept was initiated by INTRUST URBAN FLOW.

At first they were just three: three friends, three brothers, united in life and ideologies: BOBBY SHAMHAN, SULTAN OSHIMIHN and Sharlee Ngango. They conceived a project ; that of creating a label . After multiple frustrations , the idea takes shape, the dream becomes reality. The structure was then born, a label was naturally named RED ZONE.

A strong name that reflects the mindset of this young team but also the author of this name: SULTAN OSHIMIHN. Gradually , they expanded because the concept involved more than one person. Sultan Oshimihn’s  debut single ”BLOW” changed the entire perception of Hip Hop videos in Cameroon. The inspiration was off the hook !

The young team has something to offer, and believe in what they do. According to them, ”it is important to believe in yourself before you lead others to believe in you. Like a popular saying goes  “you can not stop the sun from shining.”

The Red Zone team works extremely and incessantly hard  in order to establish themselves  in the minds, morals and hearts of Cameroonians, Africans and the world.
They are determined to achieve audio albums, videos, websites, other media.

”After four years of existence, we begin the fifth, we have developed and diversified our actions today far from being a simple label, we have positioned ourselves as a provider in the world of advertising, and above all. RED ZONE ARMY tries whenever possible to harness the young talents  to make values and enable them to meet their needs.”

Red Zone now has artists like Sissongho MCs, Digital, Palesto, Kreezry,Venom, Sangoa Mboa,Yann La Fumee, and DJ T-Bo in their books. RAID TAPE Mixtape was released in 2009 and still in stores.
