EXCLUSIVE : MuMaK Presents ELAD in CHAKARA Produced By Melody

Hey NexDimerz, happy Val’s Day.” Mr Melody” ELAD has officially  unveiled his debut single on a Mumak imprint. ”Chakara” literally expresses his profound love for a damsel. With a sweet vocal timbre and deeply poetic lyrics, the Afro pop / R&B songster is simply paving his way to the pedestal of urban music in Cameroon. The song is undoubtedly a powerful love tune to unwind yourself  on this Val’s day.

                        Born on the 27^th of January 1987 in Kumba ,Eladekumu Denis Elad aka Elad (Melody) is a versatile Cameroonian singer/songwriter/producer/sound engineer from  Santchou-Western region. With a gift for the piano, at age 12, he started nursing the ambition of becoming a professional musician. Shortly after obtaining his G.C.E Advance Level Certificate, he went ahead to fine tune his musical knowledge by studying music, singing and classical piano. Later on went he furthered his education at the Yaoundé based professional school Siantou Institute for two years where he graduated with an HND in Journalism.

Worth noting are his outstanding participations in national singing contests such as Star 2 Demain (2007) and Mutzig Star (2010) where he made it through the final stage of the competitions.

Elad who also bears the sobriquet Melody as producer name began his professional career with MuMaK in the year 2012 when he featured with one of Cameroon’s most influential urban artist of the moment Jovi in “All I Have”. As a songwriter/producer his major breakthrough came when he composed and produce a song for one of Cameroon’s top female artist, Museba- Bom Bom Bom.Since then, has also produced songs for Tiana Bibish a Cameroonian gospel artist in the U.S, Belgium based Camer rapper Kosy and Denzyl Ambe’s most recent song “Nangaboko”

Chakara in this context means “Confuse” in Cameroonian Pidgin. The song is an ode packaged in a typical Afro/RnB ballad genre that expresses genuine emotions to the love of one’s life. It is Elad’s (Melody) first official single scheduled for release on Valentine’s Day 14.02.14.
