Senegalese -born american hip-hop superstar Akon is set to storm Cameroon come March 24. The man behind hits such as “Ghetto” and “lonely” will be in Cameroon for one show in Douala. His coming has been made possible by a major beer brand. This latest initiative to bring another world -class performer into the country is a luadable one that we hope will continue. Such undertakings not only put Cameroon on the world map but also provide much-needed exposure to home artists who will have the privilege of sharing a stage with a megastar.
