Cameroonian world music
superstar Wes Madiko has been handed a golden opportunity to make a triumphant return to the music scene. The star will perform alongside Zahra Universe in the AFCON 2013 theme song “Sela sela” which means dance together. After his hit track “Alane” and authoring soundtracks for major motion picture projects like “In youpendi”, a song from the The Lion King II soundtrack, the artist sank into relative silence, with later albums not paring or rivaling his earlier platinum hit album “Welenga”. Hopefully, this will once again hoist the Grammy winner at the top of the charts.
