Cameroon and New Zealand played a 1-1 draw on Saturday in the opening game in Group B of the Under-20 World Cup in Columbia. Christ Mbondi kept Cameroon ahead in the 34th minute, but New Zealand pulled even in the 40th through an own-goal by Serge Tchaha.Cameroon dominated the contest with 7 shots on target to only 1 for New Zealand and also had 61 per cent of the possession.
Cameroon shall play against Portugal in Calli on Tuesday.
