On the eve of the resumption of most European leagues, Cameroonian players just like other footballers are moving to or away from clubs. Eto’o’s F.C Anzhi teammate, Benoit Angbwa is said to have left the club. Barely a year after moving to the club, he has left for FK Rostov, another team in the top-tier of the russian league. Jean II Makoun, on his part, is set to make a return to Aston Villa. This past year, he was on loan with Greek side Olympiakos where he helped them win the league title. Aston Villa’s new Paul Lambert has been quoted as saying that he is counting on Makoun for the new season. We wish them luck.
