King Aluan is an emerging Cameroonian Hip Hop and RnB artist. Born in 1990 in Tombel, his spectacular rise has attracted enormous attention and the artiste now savours the warmth of countless fans. King Aluan was known for his performances on DELIRE , HELLO on CRTV , his prize for Runners-up in Coca cola song competition in 2004 and Ace Awards winner 2008.
Interviewed by Ernest Kanjo on tiptopstars.com , he traces his influence from childhood ;
”It started way back in my childhood. I had always loved singing and wanted to be a music star. I was inspired by RAP star Sisqo and Michael Jackson who are my role models. As a secondary school boy in Kumba, I would stay back after classes to practise singing with a friend. I became a song composer. In 2003, I recorded Reconciliation which was my first single. Unfortunately, it was never released”.
