Pierre Lechantre to make Lions' comeback?

As uncertainty and disappointment sojourn in the Lions” den, rumour and conjecture have

joined the party. In fact some media organs allege that  French man Pierre Lechantre who led the Lions in 2000 to AFCON success as coach will take over as the new Indomitable Lions” coach. They further opine  that the French man has support from the summit of the Cameroonian executive sphere of power. While taking this latest with pinches of salt, there could be some truth here given that interim coach Jean –

Paul Akono is yet to sign a contract which he said would be very soon after the lost friendly against Tanzania. Rumour or not and with the qualifier against Togo scheduled for March 23 this year, fans won”t mind even if Valeri Nepomniachi came back so long as the comeback translates into a return to winning ways for the Indomitable Lions.
