
Cameroon has won its first tournament under Samuel Eto’o’s tenure as President of FECAFOOT. The U20 Lions outmatched Burkina Faso by 2-1 in the finals of the Francophonie Games.
One of the players that piqued the attention of many football lovers was Neba Mkia Peter Paul.
The young football phenom, who hails from the North West region, scored the lone goal against Lebanon and the opener against Burkina Faso.
He is a creative attacking midfielder with stellar goal-scoring abilities. He debuted with Option Sport Academy of Limbe, where he scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists in the Amateur League. Peter Paul later had a stint at CS Sfaxien (Reserve) in Tunisia before settling in Elite 1 side Eding Sport of Lekie. His performance has stamped an indelible footprint at the Francophonie Games and there’s definitely a bright future ahead for him.
