After Samuel Eto’o ‘s departure from FC Barcelone, 15-years-old Cameroonian, Jean-Marie Dongou has been attracting lots of attention. Fast, powerful, instinctive and opportunistic , the young Cameroonian striker is considered as one of the greatest hopes of the Catalan training center since Lionel Messi. The Spanish sports daily Mundo Deportivo did not hesitate to compare him to the Argentinean in its Tuesday edition.During his first season under the tunic of the ‘Infantil A’ , in 2007/08, he scored over 70 goals in all competitions and scored 35 league goals with Cadet A.His qualities are so great that he was upgraded this year to ‘Juvenil A’. As if to justify his reputation, he has already found the net!
His various coaches; Sergi Barjuan and Oscar Garcia, have predicted a bright future for the upcoming talent.
Jean-Marie Dongou could make his debut with the first team in two or three years.
