Franchika Phenomenal is an understatement when you think of 12 year old singing sensation Franchika. She was born in Chicago, Illinois in September 1997 and is an exceptional student who excels academically. She is currently an honor roll student and was last year’s spelling bee champion of Chicago School District 160.
Franchika took an interest in music at a very early age. At the age of five, she could belt out songs that were difficult for most adults to sing. It was during one of these times that her parents realized they had a future star on their hands.
At eight years old, she started taking vocal lessons at Muzic Net School of Music in Chicago which was all about gospel; to diversify her music she was moved to the Center School of Music Chicago where Erin Gipson, Singer/Model of Ford Talent agency was her vocal coach; it was there that she mastered her craft and perfected her tone.
Franchika met gospel recording artist Sharon Pulliam at WYCA 102.3 during a Christian radio show. Ms. Pulliam, a radio host who saw her extraordinary gift and for the next three years had her perform with her in large and small scale events in and out of Illinois with audiences of over 7000 people. Sharon Pulliam got her in the Studio to do the song “What About the Children” which is currently on her MySpace page.
Being no stranger to small and large churches in the Midwest; she has performed at various churches where she left the audience in awe and frenzy. Some of her performances with Sharon Pulliam have been televised and she has also done some remote radio performances.
At 10 years old, she traveled to New York where she recorded the ongoing song “Just be Honest,” with producer Arty Skye; he has over 14 platinum and gold records under his belt. He has worked with Madonna, Will Smith, Brandy, Santana, 98 Degrees, Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah to name a few.

When asked who her favorite artists are, she says Alicia Keys, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera are her inspirations.
Franchika is currently enrolled at Van Moody School of music in Homewood, IL where she is seeking to perfect her vocal abilities ane the piano.Not only is singing her passion,she is a graduate of Acting Studio a premiere acting school in Chicago.She is a great dancer as well, so be on the look out for this triple threat!
