Indomitable Lions” striker Samuel Eto”o recently admitted to receiving death threats. The FC Anji frontman made these statements recently during a
web chat organised by a Cameroonian sister web magazine. The striker went ahead to say that he is now compelled to take his national team jerseys directed from the manufacturers and
also has to go about with gendarme protection even when on national team duty. These declarations and more sparked widespread debate as to whether the player had indeed received death threats or is simply paranoid due to his recent criticism directed at those managing football matters in Cameroon. In an interview yesterday with French radio RMC, he didn”t re-echo the death declarations although he said if he dies, it will be because God has so decided. Watch the video for yourselves and get the entirety of his declarations.
