20cent: Her single finally released

The rap movement in Cameroon is increasingly being infiltrated by ladies. One of those who has been  making heads turn and ears listen is fiery- cameroonian rapper 20cent born Eteme Francoise. One thing the rapper has often been quick to highlight is that her artistic name 20cent is no reference to U.S  rap mogul 5o cent. It is rather an innovative spelling of the name “Vincent” which she choose since she never really loved her christian name Francoise. Encouraged by her elder sister Sleks, the artist indulged her love for music by rapping and exploring  other rythmns. She signed with the Big Boss Entertainment label and has headlined for various artists like Ariq Akam apart from performing during hip- hop shows like Mboa hip- hop Festival. After all these years horning her skills, the rapper has finally released her highly-anticipated single “Egotribe”. This is a prelude to her first album “L’Enfant prodige“. If this is any hint of the forthcoming album,then fans and critics alike are in for a treat. After having animated the music scene with her unusual name and electrifying performances,the rapper has finally made her musically statement with this release which is a good reflection of the lady and rapper 2o cent is.
