WAX
On the 6th of July, internationally acclaimed Somali/Canadian hip hop artist, K’naan and Cameroonian star, Wax had the capacity of about 25 000 strong crowd at the Durban Fan Fest™ on their feet.
Fans were enthusiastically waving thousands of flags and rocking to the popular World Cup tune, ”Wavin’ Flag” as they screamed their support.
With the fans’ cheers still ringing across the beach, Netherlands met Uruguay and the cheering continued as supporters encouraged their teams to a win on the big screen. At the end of 90 grueling minutes it was the Netherlands who took the first semi-final 4-1 to the delight of ecstatic Durban fans.
Yesterday, 7th July, the Beach Festival opened with entertainment for the whole family from Cameroonian artist , Wax. Spain’s 1-0 victory over Germany was historic.
