Here is the long-awaited official video to the Daniel Eog and Teety Tezano song “Hold on sister”. It is just a teaser so don’t expect to relish the full length of this soul track featuring two of Cameroon’s rising stars. The video ,as you will see,  is great and was shot as a conversation between the two artists during which they support and encourage one another. This great video is directed by Daniel Beth. If you love soul then this is Christmas but if you don’t, you will still enjoy the video which is great.

Cameroon’s got talent. That’s what we keep saying and that’s we at nexdimempire want the world to see. Two of Cameroon’s most promising music  stars Teety Tezano and Danielle Eog (who featuerd alongside Krotal in the song “Je wanda“) have teamed up for a song titled “Hold on sister”. I don’t know about you but just from the bits I’ve listened to this far, it’s pure gold especially if you’re a fan of soul. A slice of soul seasoned with hints of blues – this dish is called great music.  In this song, the two ladies sound like Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill. I can ‘t wait for the  video which has apparently been shot already. Cameroon forward ever, forward only. Take a sneak listen and tell you’re not impressed if you’re a connoisseur. May God grease their vocals so they can always sound this great. Most Cameroonians unfortunately don’t listen to this kind of music. Tant pis pour eux.

“U make me wanna say” is another release from Teety Tezano whom we recently featured in our columns . If one youtube video is anything to go by then the video for this song is in the making or will be released soon. The youtube video thats pushes one to make this assertion is entitled “Teety Tezano preparatifs clip U make me wanna”. While we love the lady who has been generating much hype recently by featuring alongside side major Cameroonian urban music moguls like Krotal and composing a theme song for an ad we must say this song is rather stale. It lacks a certain “je ne sais quoi” to make it a hit or appeal to a wide if any audience at all. If you must disagree first listen to the song which we have fetched and posted here for you.

Just as we promised last week, here is the video of Krotal‘s latest release “la -bas”. The Yaounde- based rapper is joined by Teety Tezano who we recently  featured here on Nexdimempire . Cameroonian-born French rapper Pit Baccardi equally answers present. The video  is another  Feb 16th masterpiece. This song is a prelude to Krotal‘s upcoming album that is due for release on Youth day, February 11. The pretty girls and video quality do give the song some punch although I humbly must confess it is not Krotal’s best work yet. See for yourselves.

Looking at Teety Tezano one can only concur that talent is hereditary. She is the daughter of legendary Cameroonian musician Johnny Tezano and is walking in her fathers’ footsteps. Seeing  his daughter’s  love for music, her father offered her a piano after she completed primary education and she has been horning her skills ever since. She released her first single “Super girl“in 2006 which was an instant hit. In 2008, her budding talent caught national attention when she and her group “Kat Girls” were named best Cameroonian hip-hop revelation during “Couleurs Urbaines”. She earned another accolade in 2011 when her song ‘Unstoppable” was used by a mobile communication company for one of its ads. Her music is a brilliant mélange of soul, r’n’b, folklore, reggae and Congolese rumba. She recently featured in the shoot for Krotal’s “La-bas” video. With her sights set on musically acclaim,we can only wish this Cameroonian sweetheart all the hits talent can offer. Below is a sneak peek at her “Super girl” video.
