It is with great excitement that we announce the first edition of Blogger’s Forum which will take place at Star Land Hotel, Bonapriso, Douala on the 3rd October 2015 from 2:PM to 6:PM.
Over the past few years, “Blogging” has emerged within the Cameroonian community as a sluggish way of getting ones voice heard online. Bloggers forum is an opportunity spearheaded by some influential bloggers, who are active members of “Camer Bloggers Hangout” and the “Collectif des Blogueurs Camerounais”. These groups believe that through a forum like this, they could develop or create a new culture of writing online. This forum has as main objectives to:
-Promote bloggers and their activities
-Address issues affecting blogging in Cameroon
-Increase the public interest for blogs
-Increase awareness of the Cameroonian blogs
To realize all these actions and to make the event successful, the following activities will be carried out:
-Key notes from influential bloggers
-Interaction and networking between bloggers and the public
-Networking opportunity between sponsors and the public
This great event is an opportunity for anyone interested in blogging to know more and get a broad knowledge of the various aspects of the activity. The event is free and open to all.

The Cameroon movie industry is gradually climbing the ladder of success as professionalism is setting in. We have been amazed by the quality of movies and videos we produce lately in the industry. Cameroonian producers, directors, writers etc are taking this body to the next level by embracing professionalism and among those who are taking this great step is Agbor Obed who is the C.E.O ZUMHOO Studio Works. He has been selected to take part in the “One Fine Day Film” workshop in Nairobi, Kenya, slated for September 16th to September 29th 2013.
Before being selected for this program he has worked as a video editor and broadcaster for STV Douala and on many TV Shows, short and feature films which include “The Meet Hansel Show”, “Hom Breeze”, “Bara Extravaganza”, “Family Tussle”, “The Zumhoo’s How To Guide”, and his breakthrough short comedy film, “Cold Feet (Slack Man)”. He applied as a director on the Workshop and was asked to send an original short comedy film of not more than 1 minute. This he wrote and directed under the multimedia production house, ZUMHOO Studio Works.
The One Fine Day Film workshops are a joint project by DW Akademie, ONE FINE DAY FILMS and GINGER INK. The project is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Film und Medienstiftung NRW, the Goethe-Institut Kenya and ARRI Film & TV Services.
Agbor Obed is the first and only Cameroonian to participate in this workshop, making it a milestone achievement for the Entertainment Industry. He enrolls as a Film director and will receive training in that capacity.
Banye a.K.a Da Banso Boy as he is known to be the rapper with no limit, will be performing his hit single ‘Chorkoh‘ live on stage at
the e-Kilin Entertainment first ever concert scheduled to take place in Limbe. “The primary objective for this concert is to showcase talented Cameroonian hiphop artists doing urban music and to raise them to the spotlight where they can create and expand their fan base” said the e-Kilin Ent boss, Prince Nas. Some of the artists said to cheer the crowd alongside Banye are :- Stevelil, Rythmz, Ciana, Loed, Prince Nas, GORDON of Fale City and many more.
