2011 MTN Project Fame winner ‘and ‘Kedike” hit-maker Chidinma was in Douala March 10th at FOMARIC . She thrilled the crowd with her two great hits ”Jankoliko” and successful single ”Kedike” which was highly-awaited. The hilarious issue about the concert was that all budding Cameroonian opening acts were sent out from the backstage when the Nigerian diva was about to be introduced. This surely meant budding Cameroonian artists are not supposed to touch the Nigerian star’s garment nor interact with her. Opening acts like Achalle didn’t even get the opportunity of taking a pic with the Nigerian diva. Hmmm! I’m sure Chidinma went back to Nigeria with the impression that there was no budding Cameroonian artist. The simple conclusion I derive from the hypothesis is that Cameroonian event organizers don’t respect their artists. This equally happened during the P-Square concert in Yaounde.
