Cameroonian hiphop duo L.O.L started as a dance crew made up of four guys. Back then the group was known as Virus Squad and represented Kumba in dance battles. They later started producing their own demos which went viral. Between 2001 and 2004, Shady Ville, DidiBlaise , Cyrus and Big Cheedy ruled and reigned the hip-hop scene until educational commitments inflicted a separation. Despite their attempts to stay in the game, the launch of a movie known as “Virus Squad” caused the crew to change their name. The full meaning of their present name is a mystery, most often mistaken to mean laugh out laugh. With some crew members working solo, only Shady Ville and Cyrus stayed on and are currently linked to Nexdim Entertainment with the possibility of a record deal. “Two of us” is a demo which the duo now known as L.O.L. released recently.
