SPORTS: Lions become sheep facing Cape Verde

The Indomitable Lions yesterday suffered a humiliating 2-0 defeat at Praia facing a low-rated Cape Verde . The Lions displayed a dismal performance with  no cohesion, nor offensive armament to prove supremacy. Choupo Moting could hardly have  space to make his  miracle. Rather , the underrated  side  gave a spectacular and cohesive play style subduing Cameroon to beg for mercy. George Mandjeck who has not proven any taste of professionalism was simply a mess at Praia. Cameroonians were quite happy when the transmission signals on CRTV ceased at the end of the first half.  Should we therefore conclude that the absence of Samuel Eto’o from the squad has lessened the steam or the transfer of the captain role to Nicholas Nkoulou is the reason for the debacle ? . Denis Lavigne and his squad have blamed the irregular dimension of the pitch as a contributing factor of the defeat. Who should we blame ?
