17-year-old Cameroonian goalie from Eto’o Foundation Joseph Fabrice Ondoa Ebogo, mostly known as Fabrice Ondoa is FC Barcelona’s gold. The Cameroonian, born in Yaoundé on December 24, 1995 is the most promising goalkeeper currently in the academy. As rumours get rife that Victor Valdes won’t renew his contract which ends in 2012 with the club, Fabrice Ondoa could be a possible replacement.
Ondoa has been playing for Barca since 2009 and is currently playing in Jordi Vinyals’ Juvenil A. The club picked him up after he played a string of tournaments in Spain between 2006 and 2008, where he won two tournaments in a row after losing two consecutive finals against a FC Barcelona team that included the likes of Deulofeu and Rafinha. The goalkeeper appeared to be a great talent, resulting in Barça picking him up a year later.
