PROMISING CAMEROONIAN ARTIST DUANE DROPS “WAIT”

Annuh Duane Ikoiyah (professionally known as Duane, also referred to as “Spiritual Flame” was born on June 9, 2000. He hails from Ngie, Northwest Region, Cameroon.

Growing up in Ngie, Cameroon, Duane was fascinated by music, inspired by Disney channel and inspirational series. His elder sister, a church choir member, taught him songs and he’d practice with her.

Duane joined a rap group in secondary school, participating in rap battles and recording his first rap song in Form 4. This marked the beginning of his musical journey.

Duane’s inspiration often comes from beats that play in his head, leading him to create rhythms, melodies, and lyrics. He’s also skilled at freestyling.

Duane’s songs focus on everyday struggles, believing in a better tomorrow, and the power of God.

He has released three projects so far: a mashup, a single, and a collaboration with Raizy.

Duane has collaborated with Raizy on one project. He seeks creative and talented individuals for collaborations.

Duane is working on a new single and may release an EP soon.

Seeing the joy and smiles on people’s faces when they listen to his music is his greatest achievement.

As an independent artist, funding projects can be challenging. Duane often goes silent for periods due to financial constraints.

“Wait” is a soothing motivational song to all hustlers. Be tenacious and determined. There’s light at the end of the tunnel .
