Tranmike is an up and coming Cameroonian artist. Born in 1992 in Kumbo, he attended primary school in Jakiri and secondary school at St. Augustine’s College Nso from where he graduated in 2010. At 13 while in college, he started responding to his artistic urges; writing his own songs and dancing too. He has even added his won personal flavour to moon-walking. He is inspired by greats like Micheal Jackson, R.kelly, Akon,Jason Derulo and P-Square. Studies in Modern letters at the University of Yaounde 1 haven’t dented his musical penchants as he equally works at X Point Records with Adah, the author of the “Nyango” smash hit. This far, Tranmike has released a video ‘I love you” on youtube. It was officially released on June 5th, 2012. He is also underground preparing a soon-to-be released 9 track album that will be entitled “Dance Paragon” ( meaning any body who feels his song and wants to dance should put in their best efforts). Pending the right support and persons around this album, release has been put on hold. As an artist, Tranmike does not only content himself with singing about societal issues like poverty, war, jealousy ,hatred ,unity, money and hardwork. He also suggests solutions to the ills . Love is equally a recurrent theme in his songs. Below is his recently-released video ‘I love you” that was directed by Adah. Enjoy while we promise to hook up with the artist sometime soon for an interview.
