About MD Mochio
Mark Daddy Mochio popularly known as (MD MOCHIO) was born in Buea, the South West regional capital of Cameroon. MD started his musical career in the economic capital of Cameroon (Douala) with the group ”DREAM 2 REAL” through which he became known as one of the best vocalist , song writer and composer in that area. He later decided to begin a solo career working and featuring with home Celebrities such as Big BZY, Nabil 4real, Franky P, Randy P etc
Due to the fact that Hip hop was not really growing back home at that time and with his big ambitions, MD decided to make his way internationally. His first stop was in Czech republic where situations were not set for a talent like MD’s. After much struggle to be heard MD returned back home and decided to quit music and carry on with his basketball career with which he moved over to Singapore. On a visit to Bangkok Thailand, he came across an equally talented African Entertainment artist from Nigeria (DonBigE), together they tested their skills and began appearing together in club scenes and on stages entertaining hip hop fans with their unique and charismatic performances.
Without being told, hip hop fans began speculating on the group’s debut Album which is being scheduled for release in Africa during the first quarter of 2008 and internationally by the following quarters. AK’s upcoming Album is in line to set standards for future African Hip Hop Music and Entertainment as DonBigE and MD twist and turn lyrics in mainly English and a little bit of Broken English like never heard before. From the party bangers to the soulful hits.
DonBigE, graduated and was pressured by his family to move back home and take care of the family business. This was a sad news but dint stopped or discourage MD from following his dreams .
MD,went back home in 2009 with an invitation from his manager, Mr Mochio Mathais of ( Group Mamone Production) to relies and promote his single (tequiro) which garnered him a fan base back home and recognition from the media and all hip hop artist precisely in Douala . He returned to Thailand later that same year.
In early 2010, while performing live on a motor show in Bangkok, MD gained the attention of one of Thailand’s Artist who was the organiser and and host of the show,(Micheal V Piroon aka MVP), without any waste of time, they formed the team (M STAR) . Since then, they have been doing it real big, touring and performing on big shows and concerts all over the country,working and collaborating with Thailand’s top artist such as (Mike D Angelo,Thaitenuim, Haward Wang, Nuvo etc and gaining a huge fan base in Thailand and also internationally, they just droped their first official Single “LET’T PLAY’ and presently working on the second single “MY STAY” .
Besides that, MD is also working on his solo African debut album ‘MADE IN AFRIKA’ about to be realease this summer of 2013 futuring tracks ,
I DEY KILL DEM, FINE BOY , KAKI NO BE LEATHER and so much more ,stay tuned…
