Bikutsi diva Mani Bella has added a second video to her credit. “Pousse la vie” is the title of the star-studded video that includes other bikutsi stars like 2ki tu, Manu Killer and others. Her first video “Kongossa” signalled her arrival on the music scene. The 2011 winner of Festi-Bikutsi’s female artist of the year award is sure trying to live up to the expectations that her art has raised. Going by what bikutsi artists have been forcing down our ears, this song is an exception as the artist sings about the trappings of life and calls on people to work hard. However, we must equally say that it is still too long -6 minutes 44 seconds. Why can Cameroonian artists not spare themselves the stress of investing almost 7 minutes in one song when they can spin two from that same amount of time. See for yourselves.
