US-based Cameroonian rapper and CEO of Intercession Records Sona The Voice is presently in Cameroon to work on a mixtape with Buea-based rapper M.D Tha Rap Monsta. Both Hip Hop sensations were spotted at Trackzone Records last weekend recording on a Makossa-pop instrumental produced by Jara. The mixtape could possibly feature Dr Sley and a fresh prodigy like Jara Da Brown. Sona could be making a remarkable return after a long period of absence from the urban music scene in Cameroon. His 2009 song ”It’s all about money” looked quite promising for his career tho’ not contextual enough for the Cameroonian public. Most fans have noticed a similarity in both artists’ swag , attitude and stage charisma. Could one of them be a facsimile of the other?
