24 year-old ENS student , Mengue Essouma Marie Cecile Olga is among the 36 finalists at the international beauty contest ; Miss Tourism International 2010 currently taking place in China .
” I was a bit tensed when I arrived, probably due to the fatigue of the journey. But I’ve now had time to meet other candidates and I have more confidence in me… I always dreamed of representing my country” says Marie Olga.
She grabbed her qualification for the finals, after a pre-selection screening held in Athens in Greece. Armstrong Loga (CEO of Megane Fashion International and Olga’s agent) is quite confident Olga will make it to the final 5 ;
”This is the first participation of a Cameroonian beauty contestant at this competitive level, so logically , this participation is already in itself a victory”.
