The coach of Coton Sport of Garoua, Denis Lavagne was slammed with a 2 months ban by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) for gross misconduct.
The french man insulted the 4th referee during the match between Coton Sport and Canon of Yaounde on the 23rd of May. This not the first time Denis Lavagne is found guilty of misconduct. He received a 3 match ban when Coton played against Yong Sport Academy in Bamenda.
Lavagne’s suspension means he will not be sitting on the bench as coach during the return leg of the cup of Cameroon against Astres of Douala and the whole competition. Both teams drew 1-1 during the away match.
