Cameroonian Film Industry – Heavyweight ,Charles Nyatte bows out

The Cameroonian performing arts family has lost a titan.Charles Nyatte , star of the popular CRTV soap “Japhet et Ginette”, has left the stage for good. He died on November 15,2011 after a malaise.The veteran actor was in Yaounde to begin shooting another  soap .After starting his brilliant acting career with the creation of  a theatre troupe in 1969,the soft-spoken artist amassed a string of starring roles in films.Acclamation and recognition finally accrued  in the popular 90’s soap”Japhet and Ginette” when he became a household name in Cameroon.
