For the sake of their carriers, Cameroonian players are going wherever the wind blows them,
even if that is Thailand. This is the latest stopover in the zigzagging career of Indomitable Lion Andongcho Mbuta. After bursting onto the national football scene in 2005 with PWD Bamenda then marching on to the world scene with clubs in the USA, the 28 yr old has signed a 2 year deal with Thai side Army FC. Let”s hope this is not the end of his carrier but rather a springboard. In 2011, he was called to the Lion”s den by then coach Javier Clemente. That call-up ended with him scoring a goal against Macedonia. Andongcho is not the first Cameroonian to play for a Thai team. He is simply following in the footsteps of guys like Ohandza Zoa who played for Buriram Pea, grabbing headlines for his prolific goal-scoring record.
