His artistic name Oshimihn is from the Vietnamese general who defeated the French army at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu. Since bursting unto to scene, he has amassed countless accolades such as Best Music Video at the Canal d’Or awards in 2006 and Best reggae,ragga dancehall artist and album at the Mboa HipHop Awards in 2007. His second album “Black Queen” was only an affirmation of his status as a committed artist who doesn’t mince words when the truth is at stake.
