The Cameroonian Volleyball team coached by Peter Nonnenbroich clinched a historic second round qualification at the on-going Volleyball World cup organised in Italy. Cameroon beat Australia by 3 to 1 to grab their qualification ticket. They take on USA today , 1st October and shall play the second match against Czech Republic tomorrow 2nd October.
The tournament started badly for Cameroon with two straight defeats to Russia (world no. 2) and Puerto Rico(15th). They lost to Russia 3-0 in their opening match, and by the same score to Puerto Rico.
