Prolific singer/songwriter/producer Frank Kesi aka Mr. Pleasure just released a 6-track-deep first E.P entitled “Mr. Pleasure”. The auto-produced EP is a mix of African, Caribbean and American music, a true delight for those who enjoy the refreshing feel of afro-centricity in today’s music. As a new talent in the music scene, Frank Kesi has already rubbed elbows with big stars, including Togolese pop duo Toofan and U.S. RnB songstress Chrisette Michelle. In time for the release of his E.P., Frank Kesi was the only International Artist chosen by the U.S. Top Radio station WKYS to perform at the 2014 edition of the International Festival, which was headlined by Ludacris and Estelle.
The EP “Mr. Pleasure” opens with the title track, which is a blend of reggae and R&B. On the third track “Take Your Heart Go”, Kesi gives a shoutout to Bamenda, the artist’s alleged hometown, as he raps “If you look through me you go see Bamenda.”
