Lucky enough 2012 is behind us as well as its load of disappointments. Just as in football, 2012 was not a good year for our music and musicians on the world scene. Cameroonian hopes were dashed during the just- ended 2012 Kora awards in Cote d”Ivoire as all our nominees – Lady Ponce and Charlotte Dipanda in the best Central
African female artist category, X Maleya in the best African group category and N”Lauretta in the best female gospel artist category- lost. Hopefully, they will do better this year.
