The first ever edition of Douala Hip Hop Festival that took place on the last days of December 2011 in Douala featured artists of francophone zone like Boudoir, Sissongho Mcs, Duc- Z, Hobskur and Dutty who came from France for the festival, Creme de la creme and Mumak’s Jovi. Amongst all the french representation, Jovi was chosen as guest star of the festival – first time ever for an anglophone in a festival like this. Representing kamer hip hop, Jovi and creme de la creme thrilled the entire population in some explosive performances and ended up creating a big impact in the minds of all those present.
