The CD also features popular artists like Usher, Ciara,Keri Hilson, Justin Bieber,Trey Songz etc. The single is available in iTunes and Amazon and you can equally get it as a ringtone.
Luxland emerged through New Jersey’s RuffKuttz crew, who released two singles in 2003. In 2007 his solo career began with the soul touching ballad “Home Alone” featuring Freeway. His music video aired onVH1 and MTV.

Hugues Edzana a.k.a MH is one hot Cameroonian up and coming rapper we have not mentioned on this platform. The Yaounde-based sensation has captivated his audience with his deep lyrics which exposes the prevailing situation in our country . He got signed to MAPANE Records in 2007 by Krotal. His song debut single ”Tchoko’‘, which is a local way of meaning ” bribe ” , evokes the corruption that prevails in our government.
C-Minaire is a Cameroonian rap group composed of three artists (BAD DJEZZ, Bouddah Fai-TAAH and Jah Rahm) from the town of Yaounde best known for the concept of 6TM (cite M). Their style is basically Hip hop blended with African rhythms.
The help of Protector (one of the pioneers of French Cameroon Hip Hop ) and Mapane Records, enabled the group C-Minaire to get integrated into ”Hip Hop Camer” . The group had their breakthrough after the release of the “Coca Cola Dream” compilation 2004. Songs like “L’envol” and “Peuple Bassa” were used as promotional tracks of the compilation.
They released a compilation of singles dubbed “4×4 Tout terrain”. This compilation was a great success as they were nominated to perform in the 4th edition of L’ Assaba (Association des Alliances Bantu) in Ivory Coast. The album evokes several themes: the situation in Cameroon, orphans, mothers, students poor living conditions, and unemployment.

After two solo albums, Cameroonian rapper, El Gringo a.k.a Big Bzy is back with a brand new album ” One day , One D” produced by his label Kamer Sounds in partnership with DJ Rene’ s So Sound Records. ”Zangalewa” first lady, Annie Anzouer is back in the music scene after 5 years of absence with a brand new album composing 14 tracks titled”Partage. Her 4th album ”Partage” , which comes after others like Variations (1994), Visado (1997), Kwassio (1998) and Si Miyala (2004) is meant to share her voice, emotions and experiences with the entire world. The Cameroonian public is already appreciating the album. She is currently preparing to perform in a series of concerts around Cameroon. Remember she celebrated her 20 years in the music industry in May 2010. This album has a peculiar feeling due to the participation of his son , Jack Anzouer (on K’mer); Gizly Anzouer (on Abosso); Loue Ze, Valerie Belinga , Sahel (on Toucher tam-tam); Valerie Mengue (on Rentre chez toi); Sandrine Mengue, Epagna Kastro. After the release of 3 compiled singles dubbed ” Le Phoenix ” by the end of 2008, Cameroonian Hip Hop newcomer TAPHIS is back with a brand new LP scheduled to be released on the 1st of October 2010 with the same title. He was normally supposed to finance the entire project by himself but like Soulja Boy who was discovered on Myspace or Justin Bieber discovered on Youtube, Taphis happened to find a producer Facebook who got him signed to his new label Lemso-Far based in Paris. His 10 track-album features mainstream Hip Hop sensations like Ebène, Prosby, Palesto, Kreezry, Young Thug, Mister Kriss and Cast-P.
Emilie Edimo hails from Nkake , a village situated some kilometres from Douala. She ventured into music at a tender age. She discovered that she could not part ways with music as her unique voice attracted much attention from veteran Makossa musicians like Dina Bell, Ben Decca, Monique Seka etc at ”Rocksy” cabaret. At “Sorento”, another renown cabaret in Douala , she graced the stage with artists like Papa Zoé.
She luckily found someone she loved who proposed to take her to Switzerland to pursue her dreams. This person finally became her husband. Her debut album dubbed “Pour nous” was root- Makossa blended with some folkloric rhythms from her province of origin.

Shamir Tazoa a.k.a Luda Ice is a Camerborn student currently living in Boston,MA. He was born in Buea Cameroon and lived most of his life in Cameroon. He attended secondary school at Seat of Wisdom College, Fontem, and later on moved to Saint Joseph`s College, Sasse, where he completed his A levels and moved over to the U.S. He has been in the U.S for a little over 2 years now. His love for music started as a kid and since then, both of them have never parted ways. He has a couple of singles out already including the well known hit “Money on ma mind” featuring Ezkobarz.. who featured some time this week on NexDim. He is currently working on his mixtape titled ” The Apocalypse” set to be released later this year. We shall keep you posted when this mixtape drops. His main influence is life.
