Makossa star Jacky Kingué has returned to the music scene with a brand new album. “We lambo” as it is called is a fine testament to the artist’s undying devotion and belief in Makossa. The artist who burst unto the scene with the song “Mudengué” is currently in the country for the promotion of this album. While hoping this album puts him back amongst the makossa elite, one can’t help but notice he has ”grown” size wise. Will that not negatively impact the dancing for which he was so popular? Just saying.
Jacky Kingue’s highly anticipated album ”J’en ai assez” is finally available in stores. Remember the young makossa singer found fame in the early 2000s after the release of ”Mudenge” under Preya music.
Jacky Kingue is currently in the studio preparing his third album which he declares shall be released in 2011
The young singer who has had a long European adventure is getting set to stage a massive return to the music scene.
Jacky Kingué, since his last album Un pas de plus, has collaborated on album projects of artists such as Papillon, Chantal Ayissi and recently Benji Mateke.
He now owns a recording studio in France. Benji Mateke’s latest album was produced in this studio.
