Dr Sley and his band  ” The Sun-Rays  Band’‘, thrilled the population of Buea on Friday, 10th at Alliance Franco-Camerounaise with breath-taking reggae songs from his rich repertoire in a show dubbed ” Positive” .   The show which kicked-off at 8 pm was spiced with some stunning opening  acts like Abigail, Salatiel of the NAR winning group, Da-Thrill , Adele of BAAM and hosted by ” miss everywhere” Bemo Zinnia . The ”Prescription” hit-maker plans to continue his tour around Africa and the rest of the world.

Parol shall be performing  tomorrow Friday, 10th Setember 2010 at the French Cultural Centre in Akwa, Douala from 7pm. According to Parol, the concert is aimed at releasing his new street tape titled ” Mise au point” . With an  entry fee of 2000 frs , you shall witness the event and get an autographed CD.

WAX

On the 6th of  July,  internationally acclaimed Somali/Canadian hip hop artist, K’naan and Cameroonian star, Wax had the capacity of about 25 000 strong crowd at the Durban Fan Fest™ on their feet.

Fans were enthusiastically waving thousands of flags and rocking to the popular World Cup tune, ”Wavin’ Flag” as they screamed their support.

With the fans’ cheers still ringing across the beach, Netherlands met Uruguay and the cheering continued as supporters encouraged their teams to a win on the big screen. At the end of 90 grueling minutes it was the Netherlands who took the first semi-final 4-1 to the delight of ecstatic Durban fans.

Yesterday, 7th July, the Beach Festival opened  with entertainment for the whole family from Cameroonian artist , Wax. Spain’s 1-0 victory over Germany was historic.
