Achille Emana is not satisfied with the role he is assigned in the Cameroon team.a

Under Paul Le Guen, he has been playing as a central midfielder, ”but it is not my preferred position, I accepted it for the good of the whole team because at one time of life one must make concessions, ” says Emana. ”But now I do not want to play in that position, I talked with the coach to let him know that I feel much better as an offensive midfielder (axial), where I used to play in all the clubs where I went to. The coach promised me he will fill the gap as soon as possible.”

Emana shall be starting the match against Denmark today in Pretoria.

Despite the efforts made by the management of the national team to have Achille Emana in Lienz- Austria for training, his club Betis Seville has restrained the Cameroonian play-maker.This is due to a crucial game they shall be playing against Frank Songo‘s Real Sociedad to determine their progress to Division 1 in the Spanish League.This match will take place on the 23rd of May.

Achille Emana will arrive Lienz on Tuesday 24th, the eve of the match against Georgia.
