Born Kosi Mbanga Arnold on the 13th of March 1993 in Mankon, Bamenda, Belgian based Kamer rap newbie Kosy first ventured into music in 2006 when he did a couple of demo tracks for a small recording outfit named Sunshine Records .A year later he moved to the northern Cameroonian city of Garoua where he featured with and performed alongside some of the town’s finest especially a rap crew known as Xylem.
As a young aspiring rapper Kosy, drew inspiration from iconic hip hop heads like Americans Tupac, Ice Cube, Young Jeezy, T.I, Lil Wayne and one of Cameroon’s finest rappers of the moment, JOVI.
Foléré is the 1st official single of his yet to be titled unreleased maiden album. Under the keen supervision of tested and trusted A&R Jules Nya (MuMaK/MidasTouch), the song is produced by Buea based producer Slim Beats (Museba-Follow Follow) in a new school hip hop style.
The flow is simple, tight, contextual, club friendly and easy to relate to, since it was done in native Cameroonian Pidgin English, French and English. With this first official release, the rapper intends to leave a positive thumbprint in the fast rising music industry in Cameroon.
