CHARLOTTE DIPANDA will be staging a massive come back to her native land ,Cameroon for a tour dubbed ” Mboa Tour”.This chain of concerts will take place at various French Cultural Centres in Cameroon.
She opens the tour in her home town Douala on Wednesday 7th April 2010.The concert scheduled for Centre Culturel Francaise (CCF) was relocated to Castel Hall in Bonapriso.All eyes will later be turned to Yaounde on Friday April 9th,Buea on Wednesday 14th,Bamenda on Thursday 15th ,Dschang on Saturday 17th, Garoua on Wednesday and Maroua on Friday 23rd April 2010.These series of performances will enable Cameroonians to get taste of her new album ”mispa’‘ released in early April 2009.
Charlotte Dipanda was a revelation to the Cameroonian public in 2001 with her highly inspiring guitarist Jeanot Hens (may his soul rest in peace). In paying a tribute to him, she re-sings the songs ”Ndando and longue’‘ in this album.It’s a master-piece!!
