RnB,soul,Afro-beats artiste Steveslil a.k.a RnB Tyga and soul voice winner,star de demain 2005 winner and KORA Nominee Achalle will be unveiling their video cd dubbed CAMEROONIAN DREAM on the 13^th of June 2009 at Amphi 750 of the University of Buea in an event coupled with The Dynasty Awards 2009.This video cd will be the first of its kind ever released in English speaking Cameroon.The content includes videos like I can featuring Adjusta Feeling insecured, play my tambourine,I can remix,gotta go and suzzy.It also includes exclusive interviews accorded to the artistes and Steveslil’s video director,the multi-talented Mambe C-hill Nanje.Steveslil and Achalle are leading RnB,Soul artistes in Cameroon who are setting a pace in the industry and the sky is their limit.

Bemo Zinnia is using her strong and angelic vocals to break through in her bid for the mutzig star winner 2009.She is now at the level of the finals. Bemo Zinnia has been making headline news in Cameroon so far. She missed out traveling to Paris,France with Adele,Mabel and Larry, (BA2M )who were the laureates in the Nescafe African Revelation 2008.According to Bemo,she stayed back to work hard to win the peugot 206 SEDAN ,1 million cash price and the album recording deal which are astake.She won at the preliminary stage in Buea which is an addition credit for her.It should be noted that the Mutzig Caravan is on tour with the 4 finalists all over Cameroon.The tour caravan in Buea saw the performance of other artisteds like Lady PONCE,ACHALLE,and PRINCE AFU AKOM. Afro-hip hop duo PJ ISRAEL HUSSEIN and GALAXY J ONE that form the group Zionside under the management of Eric are presently making negotiations with a Douala based Video studio to shoot the videos of their hit songs ‘’clip a la télé’’,bouger and E make sense’’.According to their manager, the album has been having limited success because the audio CD was released without a promo video.However,Zionside songs are receiving great airplay on radio stations all over the national territory and the response has been massive so far.NexDim met with Olivier N..K.U, a presenter with RADIO NOSTALGIE in Douala who says ‘clip a la tele’’ is the most requested song on his radio show ‘’Nosta mouv’’.Close to 5000 copies of their CDs have been sold so far after their release in April this year.

Real performance album was released on the 18^th of April 2009.It is an album with 11 songs performed by collaborating artistes like Obidy Style,Bonnie 2 luv,Laetitia,ABZIZ and Lord Erico.It was officially launched at Complexe Belavie in Akwa.This album was produced by GISLAIN MUSIC.

Three Buea based dance crews BLACK LM ,TRUE BLACK and DIMS were finalists amongst 5 other groups in Cameroon bidding for the price as winners of the prestigious MALTA GUINESS STREET DANCE COMPETITON 2009.The winner was to represent the country in Kenya and goes home with a cash price of 12 million CFA. It was quite frustrating that none of these groups won the highly solicited price. The crew dubbed «La Ligue du Mal» will represent Cameroon at International Street Dance Contest in Nairobi.

It was a night to display talents, quality in a vibrant contest to select Cameroon’s best street dance crew. The competition took place at Douala Bercy hall on Saturday May 30, 2009. The young stars most of them aged 21 and above displayed their capabilities and showed originality in choreography. The best crew chosen was called “La Ligue du mal” and they will represent Cameroon in the international competition of Malta Guinness Street Dance Africa 2009.

“La Ligue du Mal” crew emerged out of a contest of eight different crews from around the National territory. After going through heated regional contests, the Malta Guinness team of jury came out with eight contestants from which they had to select the best group to represent the country in Nairobi, Kenya in September for the international contest.

The various groups that took part were: Diablos, La Ligue du mal, Hot Clan dance, Boogy dance from Douala, Black LM, True Black and Dims from Buea and X-Thriller from Yaounde. The different groups demonstrated energy and vitality in their dance styles. Though some displayed fairly common styles there were others who were original and well coordinated.

Reggae, R n B artiste Sley is presently working on his debut album ‘’I am a victim’’.It will include songs produced by Emile Ngumbah of M1 studios and other songs produced by DJ Edwin, a Denmark based Cameroonian producer currently on vacation in Cameroon.Sley’s LP was due to be released some time early this year but according to the Buea based RnB singer,his album release has been delayed because he wants to inject some international flair and rich value into the album.Talking to the NexDim team,he says he remains determined and focused patiently waiting for the appointed time to take the African music industry by storm.Sley has already done thrilling videos like ‘’teach me how to love’’ and ‘’ I am a victim’’featuring Kay which is receiving massive airplay on some Cameroonian TV channels like STV,CANAL 2 and EQUINOX.
